Get Involved
The organisers of the St Patrick’s Festival are seeking volunteers to assist in ensuring all events are safely and efficiently run.
The atmosphere in town will be wonderful as we look forward to the much-anticipated parade and a tremendous display of activities – but we need help.
Please assist where you can. Be part of the proud community that delivers these wonderful events and you are guaranteed great entertainment and a few laughs along the way.
Alternatively, contact Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce or any committee member to lend your support.

FREE Drop in Workshops
Drop in workshops will be inviting participants to help create giant butterflies and bees to decorate Main Street for St. Patrick’s Day. These will be taster sessions with willow work where participants can drop in and stay for as long as they like to meet people, learn new skills, and create amazing artwork to decorate Killarney’s streets this St. Patrick’s day.

Performance Groups
As part of the development plan for St Patrick’s Festival Killarney the town wishes to extend an open invitation to performance groups, marching bands, groups or street theatricals to come and join us on St Patrick’s Day and help internationalise our festival. We are open to participants from all countries, sister cities, twinned towns indeed from all corners of the world.
Come and join us on St Patrick’s Day and help us add colour and vibrancy to what is already a very long and well-established festival. Killarney is very well stocked with good quality accommodation providers and we will be happy to work with you to secure quality accommodation. We will also look to offer you performance opportunities outside of just the parade itself.
Killarney is known worldwide for its Céad Mile Fáilte in fact we like to think of ourselves as the Tourist Capital of The World. So, what better place to participate in all the fun of the festival than St Patrick’s Festival Killarney.
